Crazy 9th graders!

I don't know if it's just with my class.... I really doubt it though.... but I have a 3rd block class that is horrible!! They are 9th grade Algebra I students and it is right after lunch so that doesn't really help any... but I just don't know what to do with them!! I have rearranged the desks and made new seating charts for them atleast 5 times.... I do believe that this time is working out a little better though. My principal has been very supportive so that helps, but I just don't know what to do with them! Any suggestions? And I'm still very new to this blogging thing so I'm still trying to get all of this figured out! I'm really not sure what it is exactly that I'm suppose to be posting, but I will try to put some pictures of my classroom on here at a later date!

Ummmmm.... Ok

Ok, so I'm really not sure what it is exactly that I'm supposed to be doing.... but I figured that I had better post something in case I get in trouble for not posting anything! As far as teaching is going, I survived the first two weeks! Yay me! Things are especially crazy at Monticello High School this year because we are being audited in December. There is so much paperwork and not enough time to do everything I feel like needs to be done! But once I get into the swing of things I'm sure it'll all be ok! As far as my classes go, I had to send my first student to the office the other day! I didn't really want to but there was no other way I was going to gain control of the classroom! The next day the student came in and was absolutely wonderful! So hopefully I got his attention along with everyone else's! Hope everyone else's classes are doing well and I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend! I don't know about ya'll, but it just didn't seem long enough!
